Asolo
Asolo is taste for the culture and for the pleasure of the table, qualities well known to famous artists and writers . Asolo was chosen as one of the most beautiful Italian villages by the 'Anci' (National association of italian municipalities) and bestowed with the 'Venetian city of culture' Price. In visiting Asolo on the first Sunday of May, guests will be welcomed by ethnic and medieval music, street jazz and famous songs. The originality of the music and the warmth of a large and enthusiastic public make it one of the most interesting busker festivals that can be fully enjoyed in the enchanting setting of Asolo.
Placed at the summit of a hill it was defined "the city of a hundred horizons", with the gigantic fortress, il Castello della Regina Cornaro and a thousand other testimonials of a thriving past maintained alive today still thanks to different events such as the mercatino d'antiquariato (flea market) every second sunday of the month .
